However, while the Spanish giants are thought to be interested, they are yet to make an official approach.With Madrid fully focused on capturing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, Spanish outlet AS claims that Eriksen is beginning to reconsider his options.The report suggests Tottenham are willing to offer him a four-year deal with a significant pay rise in order to keep him at the club. Spurs are reportedly prepared to make Eriksen the club’s second-highest paid player, with only Harry Kane ahead of him.Eriksen’s current deal expires in 2020 and Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is unlikely to let him leave for free next summer.It is understood Tottenham value the 27-year-old midfielder at around 60million.
