Fans are hoping January might be different, although there is little transfer talk coming out of north London at the moment.And, asked about Spurs January activity, Redknapp told Friday’s Sports Breakfast: Ive got a feeling, I dont think they will [sign any new players].I had heard they were interested in the boy who has gone to Chelsea [Christian Pulisic, who signed for the Blues this week for 58million], he was on their radar at one time but he was too expensive.So no, I dont think they will.I think they might stick with what theyve got and go with that.3

Meanwhile, Redknapp has urged Mauricio Pochettino to go all out for a cup this season, despite the managers admission that his focus is on sealing a top four spot in the league.Spurs play League Two Tranmere in the third round of the FA Cup on Friday night, and will face Chelsea in the second leg of their EFL Cup semi-final later this month.But Pochettino reignited the debate over the top clubs devaluing domestic competition by admitting this week that finishing in a Champions League spot is a bigger priority.3

Redknapp, though, insists Spurs shouldnt scoff at the cups.He added: I know its all become about the top four now, and even in the quarter-finals teams put half a reserve team out. Its just gone crazy.But I think it would be nice to see Tottenham win a trophy this year. I think he should go for it.
