Gary Neville still not convinced by Manchester United players despite seven-game winning streak under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

It’s the best start any United manager has made in the history of the club and there’s a new-found optimism at Old Trafford as the Red Devils are now just three points off the top four.Speaking on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio, Neville was full of praise for Solskjaer’s work. However, Neville has not been fully won over by United’s form and questioned the commitment of the same players who were unable to replicate the same form towards the end of Jose Mourinho’s reign. Neville said: “I think when he [Solskjaer] came in, the club couldnt have been any lower in terms of expectation, there was a bad feeling around the club.“Hes done an incredible job, hes put himself in the frame and he keeps on winning. I think its the best start for any Manchester United manager in the history of the club. Its unbelievable really.“The Manchester United players at the end were obviously not trying for Mourinho as they just switched the tap on and off. The difference is incredible but I must admit I have my doubts about those group of players.Gary Neville is not fully convinced by the current United team2

“Its that they can just switch on and off like a tap, it doesnt fill me with confidence that they can take Manchester United back to the title but what they are doing at least is performing to their capabilities.”Missed Monday’s Chris Evans Breakfast Show? Click here to catch-up
